All for Thee takes Go For Wand impressively
David Cottle and Smart Angle’s All for Thee notched her first career stake victory in the $75,000 Go For Wand Stakes at Delaware Park today.
With Jeremy Rose aboard, the 3-year-old daughter of Elusive Quality posted a 2-length score and returned the mile and seventy yards in 1:42.35 over a fast main track. The Kentucky-bred conditioned by Anthony Dutrow returned $2.40 as the favorite in the field of five.
Daring Reality, with Gabriel Saez, finished second. It was another 3 ¾-lengths further back to Oh So Bella, with Joseph Rocco Jr., in third.
In her previous outing, All for Thee notched a 4-length against allowance competition going a mile and seventy yards at Delaware Park on May 7. She broke her maiden at Oaklawn Park, by posting a 6 ½-length triumph in a one mile maiden on March 27. She sports a career record of three wins from four starts with earnings of $95,400.
Her next engagement will likely be the mile and a sixteenth $300,000 Grade II Delaware Oaks on July 9.
“We were extremely pleased with her race today,” said winning trainer Anthony Dutrow. “She moved forward and stepped up her game today. If everything goes well, the Delaware Oaks will probably be her next start. The Oaks is a graded race and she has won twice at Delaware Park, so she likes the track.”
