Beginning September 4, Delaware Park will feature on-track exacta pool bonuses on the Delaware Park live races through the conclusion of the meet on Breeders’ Cup Day November 6.

The take-out for on-track exacta players of Delaware Park races will be reduced from 19% to 10%. The reduced on-track takeout will effectively give winning on-track exacta players a bonus of approximately 10% of the payoff. For example, the return to an on-track player will be approximately $110 for a winning $2 exacta combination with a payout of $100. There will be no effect on the exacta payout for off-track wagers.

“As an industry, we need to be creative and find more ways to enhance the on-track experience,” said Delaware Park Senior Vice President Michael Vild. “We are hoping to attract more horse players to Delaware Park by offering the on-track exacta bonus and at the same time reward and encourage our loyal patrons who continue to wager on Delaware Park. We hope that this experiment will be successful so we can continue to offer the bonuses next year and also possibly expand the program to include more wagers.”
