John Petrini’s Love That Dance won the $125,000 Sweet & Sassy Stakes at Delaware Park today.

With Elvis Trujillo aboard, the 4-year-old daughter of Not For Love prevailed by 2 ¼-lengths and returned $3.00 as the favorite in the field of six. The New Jersey-bred conditioned by Benjamin Perkins, Jr., covered the six furlongs in 1:10.30 over a fast main track.

Jehan, with Fernando Jara, finished second a nose in front of Veuve, with Gabriel Saez, in third.

Love That Dance raised her career record to eight wins from 23 starts. Previously, she ran second in the seven furlong $100,000 Maryland Million Distaff at Laurel on October 2.
