Glen Hill Farm’s No Inflation scored an easy front running victory in the $250,000 (includes $50,000 Breeders’ Cup fund) in the Grade III Kent Stakes at Delaware Park today.

With Rosemary Homeister Jr. aboard, the 3-year-old son Repriced won by 6 1/4-lengths and returned $7.20 as the second choice in the field of five. The Florida-bred trained by Thomas Proctor cut early fractions of :48.35 for a half mile and 1:12.04 for the three-quarters mile before completing the mile and an eighth in 1:48.29 over a firm turf course.

Out At Night, with Joseph Rocco Jr., finished second. It was another length farther back to Dr. Large, with Justin Sheppard, in third. The 3-to-5 favorite, Laureate Conductor with A.R. Napravnik, finished fifth,

“It set up perfect for us,” said winning rider Rosemary Homeister, Jr. “We knew there was one other speed horse in the race and I was told to just let him break and wherever he is comfortable, just leave him there. And when he broke, he broke sharp and he put himself on the lead and he felt very comfortable in that spot. Going around the first turn, I picked it up a little bit because I did not anyone to sneak up on us. After that, I just had the race. I did not know how he was going to finish, but when I got to the middle of the last turn and asked him, he was just in cruise control.”

No Inflation raised his career record to three wins from eleven outing with earnings of $319,803.
