A couple new wrinkles will be introduced to the wagering format when the Delaware Park live race season begins on April 30.

New to the wagering format will be a 50¢ minimum wager Pick-5 which will begin with the third race, and the minimum wager for Trifectas and Pick-3s will be reduced to 50¢.  Trifecta wagering is available in all races and the Pick-3s will roll throughout the card.

A 50¢ minimum remains in place for both Pick-4s, which begin in the first and fifth races, and a 10¢ minimum remains for Superfectas, which is scheduled for every race.  Win, Place, Show, Exacta and Daily Double wagering remains a $1 minimum.

The takeout structure for each wager is as follows:  Win, Place and Show are 17%; Exacta and Daily Double are 19%; and Pick-3, Pick-4, Pick-5, Trifecta and Superfecta are 25%.
