This blog post is a bit different to the usual because I am going to talk about the physiological aspect of gambling and entertainment in general.
There is no doubt that most people actually put off having a great time until their ideal circumstances arrive. For example, when I lose 50 pounds I will be happy, when I meet my ideal partner, when I am earning $100k per year, etc., etc.
It is all very well thinking like that but why not decide to have a great time whilst you are waiting for these things to happen? You could be watching a race at Delaware Park, enjoying a meal at one of the restaurants or playing at the casino. You will probably be able to lose yourself in the moment but I can assure you that it will all be far more enjoyable if you savor every moment for what it is.
OK, I know this all sounds a little bit too deep but if you live for the moment it really will change your life, it is as simple as that. If you don’t believe me ask yourself this question.
Let’s say that you have booked a table at one of the Delaware Park restaurants, you are with your family and a few friends as you sit in the bar enjoying a drink or two before you sit down to eat. The meal, as expected, meets all of your expectations and you and the people who are with you are all have a brilliant time.
Visit the 18-hole Delaware Golf “White Clay Creek” course at the White Clay Creek Country Club facility in Wilmington, Delaware, located at Delaware Park.
Now, would it make any difference during that time if you were earning more money or weighed a few pounds less, no, it wouldn’t. Keep your hopes and dreams by all means but if you enjoy yourself whilst you are waiting for them to happen you really will be living a life worth living.
What’s more, if you are also hoping to meet your ideal partner, someone who is happy and having a great time is a far more attractive proposition than the alternative, think about it!
While you are waiting for life to be perfect, why not enjoy yourself in the mean time!
