Outside Operations Attendant - Golf Operations

JOB TITLE: Outside Operatiions Attendant portation            


High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.


  • Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.
  • Required to greet guests in a pleasant, courteous manner.
  • Carry golf bags for guests to designated locations per guest’s request.
  • Receives, parks and returns patrons’ automobiles in valet parking area, when needed.
  • Check in and check out guest golf equipment.
  • Log and Color Tag all bags properly.
  • Keep work area neat and clean. 
  • Clean guest and rental clubs.
  • Suggest recommendations to guests for adherence to club dress code.
  • Maintain the lost club log by filling out incident reports when necessary.
  • Maintain rental clubs and inform Supervisor of club shortage, daily inventory control.
  • Prepare golf carts for play.
  • Inform Supervisor of low levels of inventory, operating, and range supplies.
  • Launder stock and fold towels to ensure ample supply.
  • Responsible to maintain and use radios and earpieces for communication between golf ops areas.
  • Responsible to thoroughly washing all carts before parking in the clubhouse.
  • Ensure that chargers are plugged into cart and turned on properly.
  • Communicate (both written and verbal) with and promote positive team member and guest relations.
  • Able to consistently comprehend, retain, and/or execute written, verbal and demonstrated directions, explanations and guidance.
  • Promotes outstanding customer relations.
  • Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.                                                                                                                                                                                                                             

    • No prior experience required. 
    • Valid driver’s license required and minimum two (2) years driving record with no points.
    • Must posses the manual dexterity to safely operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
    • Must be able to lift and carry Twenty-five (25) – Fifty (50) lbs. without difficulty.
    • Knowledge of golf and etiquette preferred.
    • Must be able to run & stand for at least a full eight (8)-hour shift, without difficulty.
    • Must be able to wear and appear comfortable in the assigned uniform provided by Delaware Park.
    • Must be able to work in all weather elements including extreme heat, cold, and precipitation.
    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management is mandatory.
    • Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to business needs, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
    Must be able to handle all types of guest related situations; relay all guest compliments and complaints to department management.
