If it sounds too good to be true..
A few weeks ago we touched on the subject of a roulette system which is often touted as being a sure fire way to make money. It comes under different names which are often dreamt up by highly paid copywriters who craft together a sales page to sell the system, which makes it sound like the Holy Grail of money making plans which will ensure that you and your family’s financial future will be secure.
These sales pages will usually tell a story of how someone was at rock bottom and started using this roulette system with only $10 to their name, and within a few months they were sipping cocktails whilst relaxing on a yacht on the Mediterranean!
We can all laugh at how ridiculous this all sounds but people do fall for these promises, intelligent people at that, so let’s just recap how these systems are supposed to work and why they are doomed for failure.
They usually go something like this, you set yourself a target of how much money you want to make, let’s say $100. You place a $100 bet on an even money chance on roulette, if you win, simply walk away and you have earned your money for the day.
Delaware Poker at the Delaware Park poker room in Wilmington, Delaware, offers a poker players a 25-table poker room, 20-table dedicated tournament room and tons of promotions, including freeroll poker tournaments, bonnus sweepstakes table games, bad beat jackpots and much more.
If you lose though, a bet should be then placed to win your $100 target as well as to recap the money you have lost on the first bet. If it wins, yes you guessed correctly, walk away, if it loses, the next bet needs to make $100 profit plus cover the losses of the first two bets.
Anyone who is not familiar with roulette may still be thinking that this sounds like a good system but when you take into account that it is quite possible to win or lose 10 bets or more in a row, it is a completely different story. It will get to the stage that you will need to be placing bets of thousands of dollars just to hit that $100 target and most people will not have the bank or the nerve to carry on.
On the positive side, it is quite possible to make money from playing roulette, but you don’t need to spend money on a system which could very well end up with you losing much more than you could possible imagine.
Don’t fall for the spiel; you can make money from playing roulette but not by using a system which is always doomed to fail.
