Relax at Rooney’s!
Picture the scene, you have just finished a long session at the blackjack tables, you won some, you lost some, but it is now two in the morning and your mind turns to the subject of food. You have been ignoring the rumblings in your stomach for the last hour or so but now you can wait no longer..
If you are familiar with this scenario, where better to enjoy some fabulous food of the highest quality than Rooney’s Deli at Delaware Park. Open from 11 in the morning until 5 the following morning on Fridays and Saturdays, 4 in the morning for the rest of the week, this award winning Deli really is something else.
If you’re a little peckish, try their ‘Mr Delaware Park’ cold sandwich which consist of Corned Beef with 1000 Island Dressing, Swiss cheese and Coleslaw, served on Rye Bread, but if you feel that you could eat a horse (pardon the pun) how about ‘The Triple Crown’
This one consists of, wait for it, Ham, Turkey, Capicola, Prosciutto, smoked Gouda and Swiss Cheese with Tomato, Onions, Pickles, mixed Greens tossed with a Citrus Vinaigrette and a roasted Pepper Aioli, served on three slices of Marbled Rye Bread.
Delaware Poker at the Delaware Park poker room in Wilmington, Delaware, offers a poker players a 25-table poker room, 20-table dedicated tournament room and tons of promotions, including freeroll poker tournaments, bonnus sweepstakes table games, bad beat jackpots and much more.
They also have a wide range of hot sandwiches which are to die for, all reasonably priced and one thing that you will notice about this Deli is that no matter what time of the day you decided to pay a visit, 2 in the morning or 2 in the afternoon, the place is always buzzing as people make a beeline to try out the kind of food experience which has a reputation unlike any other.
All of the food at Rooney’s is very reasonably priced, so it doesn’t matter if your night at the casino was profitable or not, you will still be able to have a fantastic deli experience and still have money left in your pocket for the cab fare home!
